Church Custodian

POSITION SUMMARY: The Church Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe,
sanitary, and welcoming environment throughout all church facilities. This position supports the
ministry of Light of the World Christian Church by ensuring that worship spaces, classrooms,
offices, restrooms, fellowship areas, and common spaces are thoroughly cleaned, prepared,
and maintained for worship services, ministry activities, and special events. The Church
Custodian serves as a steward of church facilities and contributes to an atmosphere that reflects
excellence, hospitality, and care for all members, guests, and visitors.

POSITION STATUS: Part-Time, Non-Exempt (20-25 hours per week)

WORK SCHEDULE:
• Approximately 20-25 hours per week. Schedule may include weekdays, evenings,
weekends, and special church events as needed.
